How do I use this?

You can find the forms listed to the right. Check 'em out.

What is this anyways?

I've been meaning for a while to capture the forms I've been doing since age 11 in a artistic format I feel comfortable with. Free verse poetry it is!

Who are you?

I'm a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. The particular style is Chung Do Kwan. I've been practicing with the WMAA, under my teacher Howard Latting for over thirteen years.

Why?

I had this idea bouncing around in my head since shortly after I first started. I am a big fan of E. E. Cummings' work, and I like the idea of capturing the cadence of the forms in text.

What this site isn't

  • This site will not teach you the forms. It is merely an art project that I've been interested in.
  • This site will not have photos (I've only got 10MB of space, after all).
  • This site might help you remember the cadence yourself, but that is not its intent.
  • A publicly editable wiki. As this is an art project, the poems are my own creation. I may add on another writer, if only as an expert role (spelling of the forms, etc.). Check the License so you know how you can use the poems and other texts.
